About Dr Ihor Voloshyn

Dr. Voloshyn received his first Dental Degree from the Lviv Medical University, Ukraine in 1981. He practiced General Dentistry and was on faculty at the Lviv Medical University School of Stomatology for 15 years. In 1991 he received Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Medical Science .

After moving to the United States, Dr. Voloshyn  received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 and his Certificate in Endodontics in 2003. While studying at the University of Pittsburgh, he earned several awards, including the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award.

Prior to moving to Charlotte Dr. Voloshyn practiced as an Endodontist in Northeastern Pennsylvania for 9 years.

Dr. Voloshyn is a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA) and NC Dental Society.
